The Tilt

In a moment and a time
the clock steadily clicks
the trials of life
sets at a tilt

When the dong strikes
Apprehension mounts
for hard decisions
must be made

Meddlesome folk
cause irritation and disdain
Oh, how I wish this feeling would go away
Knowing not what they speak of, is their way

The stressors of living are neccessary
so up on the horse one must mount
riding into the darkness, only to find light
that a life lived long is as beautiful as night
